Purple Claw Vintage Comic Cover-Recycled Paper
I love the idea of a superhero with a giant purple claw! This cover was originally published in January 1953.
With this notebook I have used raspberry book cloth to frame the front image and cover the spine and back. It’s a casebound A5 notebook, I have hand sewn the signatures (groups of folded paper) with Irish linen thread giving 144 pages of 90gsm recycled paper. I chose yellow endpapers to match the cover along with yellow endbands. For the cover print I have used 160gsm paper and treated it with a matt waterproof finish for durability.
