Punch Vintage Comic Cover-Recycled Paper
I love the striking skull on this ‘Punch’ cover, originally published in January 1945.
With this notebook I have used black book cloth to frame the front image and cover the spine and back. It’s a casebound A5 notebook, I have hand sewn the signatures (groups of folded paper) with Irish linen thread giving 144 pages of 90gsm recycled paper. I chose red endpapers to match the cover along with red endbands. For the cover print I have used 160gsm paper and treated it with a matt waterproof finish for durability.
