Green, Black, Red Hand Marbled Paper
This handmade A5 notebook has been fully covered with my own green, black and red 270gsm marbled paper. The paper has been made using traditional marbling techniques with green, black and red marbling paint floating on carrageenan size. (the white is the paper showing through)
It is made up of 72 pages of high quality 90gsm fully recycled paper. The signatures (groups of folded paper) have been hand sewn using waxed Irish linen thread.
I have used red endpapers to match the marbled covers, and added red endbands to the book. The spine has been further reinforced with a extra layer of mull (constructional cloth) on the hinges.
