Bookcloth and Purple Paste Paper Design - Half Binding

£25.00

I have hand sewn the signatures with Irish linen thread giving 72 pages of blank recycled 90gsm paper. It is a half case binding with a panel my of own hand designed paste paper framed with purple bookcloth at each side giving great durability. I have trimmed the edges with the traditional press and plough method.

The cover paper is slightly textured having been made with a mixture acrylic paint and paste. It's light purple with some blue brush strokes and a golden shimmer.

This notebook has been personally hand bound from start to finish, a true labour of love! I have finished off the covers with Renaissance wax - the same wax used by the British Library.
